School Safety Objectives
-Continue to develop The Emergency Preparedness Parent Task Force and its role
-Get Emergency Telephone Tree in circulation as soon as possible after school starts
-Continue to attend meetings to address driveway safety renovation
-Renovations planned for summer 2007

PTA Committee Objectives
-Provide more parent resource information to parents in the form of hand-outs or speakers
-At each PTA meeting have relevant information available (minutes, budget, calendar)
-Encourage younger grade level parents to take on committee positions

Community Service Objectives
-Continue school supplies donations to Jones Lane and Glen Haven Elementary School
-Continue coat/mitten drive donations to Jones Lane and Glen Haven Elementary School

School Improvement Objectives
-Continue beautification of the school courtyard

Communication Objectives
-Update JLES PTA website and put current information on the website quickly
-Improve attendance of Parent Education Programs
-Change Science Night from Parent Only to Parent/Student exhibits
-Offer at least three Parent Programs throughout the 2005/2006 school year

Fundraising and Recreation Objectives
-Survey parents for feedback on new fall fundraiser Sally Foster
-Continue to support Community Nights Out - 3 per year (% of restaurant proceeds go to Jones Lane on specific nights)
-Add another Fundraiser to close gap in anticipated budget deficits
-Continue to improve and refine pre-packaged school supply kits program
